£10,000 funding for organisation

A BOROUGH charity has received £10,000 of funding thanks to the Big Lottery Fund.

North Tyneside Disability Forum is one of 14 groups in the north east to receive funding from Awards for All, which gives small grants of up to £10,000 for specific projects.

NTDF will use the funding to deliver a project to bring people with mental health issues into contact with those who have no experience of such issues, via an outreach centre, to raise awareness, break down barriers and enable beneficiaries to share skills they have learned.
