Appeal after shop theft

AROUND 144 socks were stolen from a North Tyneside shop before Christmas.

Now police have released CCTV images of two men they need to speak to following the theft at Matalan in Killingworth.

It happened on Monday, December 10, 2012 at the store on Citadel East in Killingworth, when around 144 pairs of Thermal socks worth in total hundreds of pounds were stolen.

Police believe the two men pictured have information which may help the investigation.

Anyone who recognises them is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
