The search is on to find a young person to represent North Tyneside in the UK Youth Parliament.
North Tyneside Council is holding elections for the first time, with the elected youngster representing other young people from the borough.
The elected youngster will also have the chance to attend Westminster and debate in the House of Commons.
Applications are open to those who live, study or work in North Tyneside and are aged between 13 and 18 and will close on Friday, February 7.
Youngsters from North Tyneside were previously nominated from the authority’s Youth Council.
