A MAN is in hospital in a life-threatening condition after a fight at a borough Metro station.

At 8m on Sunday, February 12, police received a report of a serious assault at Wallsend metro Station. One male was conveyed to Newcastle’s RVI hospital with life-threatening head injuries.

His condition is described as critical.

Any witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to contact police on 03456 043043.
