Images of a man police would like to speak to following an attempted fraud in North Shields

Police investigating an attempted fraud in North Tyneside have released CCTV of a man they need to speak to.

It happened on Friday, January 10, when a man went into the Nat West Bank at Bedford Way in North Shields, produced a counterfeit driving licence and tried to deposit a fake cheque into an account and attempted to withdraw funds.

When confronted by staff he left the bank.

Police investigating have released CCTV images of a man they need to speak to who it’s believed may have information which may help with enquiries.
