A newly-launched baby swimming business is making a splash in North Tyneside.

Whitley Bay mother-of-two Phillippa Aldridge enjoyed taking her baby to swimming lessons so much she decided to take the plunge and set up on her own.

With the help of The North Tyneside Business Factory, she has launched ‘Squidgers’ – a dedicated swimming tuition service for babies and small children.

Phillippa said: “I feel very passionate about baby swimming, and even after many years in the pool I will never take for granted the absolute honour I feel being allowed to teach the most precious people in the world – babies.

“I adore baby swimming with my son and love to help others experience this too.”
