Drop-in events are being held as part of the ongoing consultation over Tynemouth Village Conservation Area.
Consultation is taking place to gather community views on a document guiding the future of the conservation area.
Members of the community have been working with planning officers from North Tyneside Council to prepare a Management Strategy to guide the future of the conservation area.
Once completed, the strategy will be adopted by the authority and used as guidance when making planning decisions.
And those involved would like to hear the views of the wider community to help shape the final document.
Drop-in events with the group and a planning officer will take place at Tynemouth Library, Front Street, on Thursday, February 13, from 3pm to 7pm; Saturday, February 15, 11am to 1pm; Saturday, February 22, 11am to 1pm and Thursday, February 27, 3pm to 7pm.
The draft strategy can also be read online and comments submitted via the planning portal on the council’s website at www.northtyneside.gov.uk
Paper copies are also available from the council’s HQ on Cobalt Business Park and at Tynemouth, Whitley Bay, Cullercoats and North Shields libraries.
The closing date for responses is 5pm on Friday, March 7.
