A Whitley Bay woman has been appointed to a senior role within her industry.
Sarah Hall has been re-appointed to the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) board and chairperson of the professional practices committee.
She is managing director of Sarah Hall Consulting, working with clients across the UK to develop communication strategies that support their business objectives.
Sarah is the youngest CIPR Fellow in the region after being awarded the title three years ago for her long-standing contribution to the industry.
She said: “The CIPR is a national membership organisation. We’re firmly focused in 2014 on moving the organisation out of London and into the regions to better serve members.”
Stephen Waddington, of Holystone near Rothbury, was named president of the national body for public relations professionals for 2014 – the most senior elected office in the Industry.
He is Ketchum Europe’s digital and social media director advising clients in Europe as well as some in North America, Asia and Latin America.
