The TVLB reunion at the Watch House saw more than 40 past and present members share their stories.

Former members of the Tynemouth Volunteer Life Brigade came together to share stories of years gone by. More than 40 past and present members visited the Watch House on February 15, for the reunion where they shared stories of years gone by and to hear of the organisation’s plans for the year ahead.

The evening followed weeks of detailed research by Brigade members as they worked to find the contact details for members who had lost touch with the group. TVLB captain Peter Lilley said: “While this research was generally successful, we would encourage anyone who has links with the Brigade, no matter how many years ago, to get in touch with us so that we can keep you informed of our plans for the remainder of the year.”

Former TVLB members are asked to email peter.lilley@tvlb.org
