PUPILS at a Tynemouth school have been surveying one potential career path thanks to a former student.

King’s School’s first ‘Lunchtime Careers Talk’ for 2013 was delivered by former pupil Thomas Conneely.

The 24-year-old from Whitley Bay, left King’s in 2007 to study at Northumbria University where he gained a first class degree in estate management, an accredited course which led to him becoming a chartered surveyor specialising in commercial property with JK Property Consultants.

Senior pupils attended the seminar, which focused on understanding careers in surveying and how money can be made from property and commercial real estate.
