Going wall the way to raise cash

OLYMPIC champion cyclist Chris Boardman is urging fundraisers to tackle Hadrian’s Wall for charity.

The cyclist is supporting Breast Cancer Campaign and male cancer charity Orchid’s 100-mile cycle and hike along the wall in May.

The three-day challenge starts at Bowness-on-Solway in Cumbria and finishes at Wallsend.

Chris, pictured, said: “This fantastic challenge combines two great activities, and I hope people will take part and enjoy the historic route it will take them on.”
