It was flowers, bunnies and eggs galore at North Tyneside Disability Forum’s Easter bonnet competition last week.
Service users pulled out all the stops to design their hats for the event, donning home-made bonnets adorned with fluffy chicks, feathers and colourful floral arrangements.
Around 40 people took part in the Easter Eggstravaganza with a community lunch, tombola, raffle, Easter egg decorating competition, and entertainment with NTDF’s DJ Captain Bob and a sing-along with the Songs for All group, ending with the Easter bonnet parade and competition.
Irene Edwards and Annie Alexander won the Easter egg decorating competition with their interpretation of Humpty Dumpty, and Katherine Alexander and Dorothy Sands won the Easter bonnet competition with their creations.
