Some of Hollywood’s most famous Super Heroes and Villains will be at Tynemouth Station next week – along with a special magical treat.
Life-size models of film icons including Batman, The Joker, Spider-man, Superman, Super Woman, Jack Sparrow, Count Dracula and the Terminator will be on display in the station from Monday, August 18, to Friday, August 22, between 10am and 4pm daily.
Visitors are invited to bring a camera and take photographs with their favourites.
On Friday, August 22, there will also be a Harry Potter-themed roadshow, where fans can meet Harry Potter and Professor McGonagall lookalikes.
Admission is free and Harry will present magic shows at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, while Professor McGonagall will perform broomstick flying sessions and wand-making at intervals throughout the day.
Fans are advised to attend early to avoid disappointment, as the sessions are anticipated to be very popular.
These activities are part of a six week programme of free summer events at the recently restored Tynemouth Station, organised by North Tyneside Council.
The final week of events from Monday, August 25, to Friday, August 29, with activities for under fives and jazz performances.
