A historical venue is helping more businesses getting on their feet.

Town Hall Chambers opened last year after Grade II-listed Wallsend Town Hall was transformed into a business hub.

After being refurbished into modern office and conference facilities, it now offers space for up to 50 businesses to start and grow.

The landmark venue has received support from the North East England Chamber of Commerce to help develop and flourish.

Martin Pearce, sales and marketing director at The Town Hall, said: “The Town Hall is passionate about helping to grow big businesses again in the North East, these businesses start with great facilities.

“We plan on expanding across the country, allowing us to provide a platform for as many businesses as possible.”

“We take pride in each individual project as well as working to enhance the community and economy of the local area.”

Following the first class renovation to restore the building’s original character, it now features generously sized fully equipped offices, a hi-spec interior and ample free parking.

There are also free meeting rooms, board rooms, conference rooms and an in-house networking group.
