Junior gets ready for his debut album
A WALLSEND singer has produced a DVD to mark the release of his debut album.
Junior Turner found national fame back in 2010 when he won a competition to release the national single for the annual BBC Children in Need appeal.
He has since gone on to release a further four singles including Say Goodbye, which sold more than 300,000 copies for war veterans charity Help for Heroes, as well as three UK Newcomers chart’s number ones with Loveblind, Sweet Love.
And in December 2012, Hurt, featuring Robbie Williams’ guitarist Neil Taylor also went to number one.
Junior said: “I have really turned it around having found myself with 48 hours to live when I suffered multiple DVTs when I was 17, including one in the lung which left me in intensive care after a flight to Benidorm.
“To mark the release of my debut album, Under Scrutiny, I held a launch show in December at Tynemouth Priory Theatre, which was recorded and has now been produced by Digiwiz UK.”
The video production, An Audience with Junior Turner, was officially launched earlier this week.
