Marine conservation charity ORCA is offering marine wildlife enthusiasts the opportunity to take part in a series of unique summer residential training courses as part of its Wildlife Education Officer Programme.
In association with DFDS Seaways on the North Sea, course attendees will live and work onboard the DFDS cruise ferry King Seaways, contributing to ORCA’s summer 2014 research season, gaining one-to-one training and gaining mentoring from experienced wildlife officers.
The research season is split into four separate periods, which run from May until late August.
The course costs just £495 per person, which includes board and lodging. Programme dates for the courses are May 2 to 31, June 2 to 30, July 2 to 30 and August 3 to 31.
