Budding models keen to become the next Miss Newcastle are set to descend on a Tynemouth restaurant.
Lorelei Bar and Grill in Front Street is holding ‘Miss Lorelei’, a local heat for the Miss Newcastle competition.
And a host of a famous faces are set to appear at the recently opened establishment, with the event raising money for The Sunshine Fund.
The event takes place on Thursday, April 3, and doors open at 6.30pm with a champagne reception and canapés.
Compere will be Real Radio’s Justin Lockwood while among the judges will be Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor and current Miss Newcastle Shannon Steinson.
Music will be provided by Aiden Martinez, Chloe Weatleans Watts and a live DJ while there will be a raffle.

Hannah Gray, a former Miss Newcastle who is helping organise the event, said: “It will be a fantastic evening of drinks, food, music, fashion, special guests, live singers, gorgeous girls and a raffle, raising money for The Sunshine Fund.
“Please come along to what is going to be the biggest event Tynemouth has ever seen.”
