Ornamental meerkats and bike stolen from garden

FIFTEEN ornamental meerkats have been stolen from a garden in Wallsend.

The theft took place between 12.30am and 7am on Sunday, February 10.

The thieves entered a garden at an address in Bath Close to remove the ornaments and bicycle.

The bike is a blue Raleigh ladies cycle.

Police are carrying out enquiries into the theft and are urging anyone who has any information to contact them, in particular if anyone is offered an ornamental meerkat or bike for sale.
