Staff at a business park are being given a chance to save hundreds of pounds in leisure and shopping in the region.
Cobalt Business Park is holding a ‘More on Show’ event on Thursday, July 17, to promote Cobalt’s more discount card which gives staff access to more than 100 offers from shops, entertainment venues and restaurants.
There will also be a prize draw in aid of the Sunshine Fund.
The event, at Cobalt Central retails development, will welcome new tenants Barnardo’s and Perfect Image and celebrate the expansion of Hewlett Packard’s.
Amy Carroll, travel and community coordinator at Cobalt, said: “At Cobalt we really try to look beyond the 9-5, through providing a unique and dynamic timetable of events, classes and clubs, we think we have created a strong sense of community and a truly rewarding environment in which or staff work and live.
“Events are developed in close partnership with staff, Cobalt’s timetable is thoughtfully designed to fit into working lives. There are lunchtime classes, evening courses and big one-off events, all designed to stimulate mind and body, and provide a great opportunity to socialise with friends, old and new.”
Heather Todd, from North Tyneside Council, based at Cobalt, said: “The discounts staff working at Cobalt get are amazing.”
