Youngsters at a borough school have taken part in a special May Day celebration.
Pupils at Coquet Park First School celebrated achieving an outstanding Ofsted inspection in February 2014 with a May Day event.
All classes took part in the day and performed, with reception children and Year 2 and 3 children doing a May pole dance, Year 1 doing a stick dance and year 4 performing a sword dance.
Headteacher Colleen Ward said: “I am extremely proud of our children and staff who have worked hard as a team to perform complicated dances to such a high standard.
“The children embrace the opportunity to learn through an exciting creative curriculum.
“Thank you to our supportive parents and governors who enjoyed the celebration.
“We are all delighted to achieve an outstanding Ofsted report. The staff, children, parents and governors all work extremely hard as a team to provide an interesting and creative curriculum supporting high standards in all area.
“I am proud of their achievements and work, over a number of years, which has resulted in the outstanding judgement.”
