Residents came together to celebrate all that is good on their estate.
People living in Benton are looking to provide more facilities for young children in one estate and held a fun day to show what could be achieved.
And hundreds took part in the Benton Estates Action Group fun day held on the fields at Ongar Way.
Activities included a number of stalls, a penalty shoot out and a dog show which was judged by Laura Barber, events and sustainability manager at the nearby Quorum Business Park.
After new houses and schools were built in the area, residents are keen for the field to be given for recreational facilities following work to improve drainage and flood defences.
They would like to see a football pitch created for youngsters, as well as a park or skate park if sufficient funding can be secured for the area.
