Scooters set for good home

CHARITIES in North Tyneside who could make use of a number of pieces of equipment are being urged to pop in to a Whitley Bay shop.

Travelability on Whitley Road has two electric scooters, and two electric beds which they are keen go to a good home.

They were donated the machines, and have reconditioned them, and are hopeful someone who can make use of them but normally couldn’t afford one can benefit.

Andrew Wylie of Travelability said: “We basically just want them to go to a good home.

“When we get items like this we sometimes have to scrap them but where we can we will recondition them and give them to charity.

“We sell new ones in the shop but we are happy for someone to take them who can put them to good use.”

As well as the scooters and beds, the shop also have a toilet stand and table trolley available.

Andrew added: “We just want people to come along and have a look and see if they are going to be any use.

“We want genuine people.”
