Silent auction to help church funds

A silent auction is taking place at St Alban’s Church, in Earsdon, with buyers encouraged to chat over lunch.

The event on Saturday, June 21, in the Eccles Hall is being held to raise money for the church’s ground breaking renewable energy project.

Potential buyers can view the lots from 10am with the auction starting at 1.30pm. A soup lunch will be available.

The Vicar of St. Alban’s, the Revd Andrew France, said: “I know we have some very interesting lots for the auction which have been kindly donated by individuals and businesses.

“We hope people will see the silent auction has a chance to meet up with friends and bid for a bargain in the process.”
