Talented youngsters shine at forum’s show

Young disabled stars proved they had the talent as they entertained a large audience at a popular event.

North Tyneside Disability Forum youth project held their ‘Forum’s Got Talent’ show last month at the Shiremoor Centre.

Children and young people aged seven to 25 took part in a show of song, dancing, music making and gymnastics, entertaining a large audience of all ages.

Among the judges were Darran Blackshaw and Rachel Bell from Barclays Bank, the forum’s chief officer Sue Adams, deaf development worker Derek Craigie and Lorraine Adams from Northumbria Police, with head judge Matthew Hall.

The winners were selected as Cameron Arrow, Graeme Rogers, Candy Carpenter, Jack Skeldon and Barry Lee, who each received a £5 gift voucher.

North Tyneside Disability Forum, based in Shiremoor, work with physically, sensory and learning disabled and deaf young people from Monday to Saturday.
