The council is hitting the road to listen to concerns from residents about local issues.
Over the summer, North Tyneside Council’s communications and engagement team will be on hand at a range of events and venues to talk to residents.
And as well as providing information on council services, they will be giving residents an opportunity to have their say on a range of topics.
Coun Carole Burdis, cabinet member for engagement, said: “We have made a commitment to actively engage our residents in our conversations about services and issues and what better way to do that then to go out into their local areas and speak to them as they carry on their everyday activities.
“We know not everyone has the time to come to us at formal engagement events so by going out and about we hope to be able to engage with more people than before about things important to them.”
The engagement team aim to be very visible in their new uniforms and will be both asking residents for feedback on a number of issues, as well as welcoming residents to highlight issues important to them.
