Trio jump 14,000ft to support charity

Three women took a leap of faith to help raise money for charity.

Beth Curry, Anna Lambrinoydakis and Toni Levison, who work at Morrisons in Hillheads Road, Whitley Bay, took part in a tandem skydive.

And their jump from 14,000ft has helped raise more than £1,200 for Sue Ryder, the store’s national charity partner.

Anne said: “It was a brilliant but scary experience, there are no other words to describe it.

“We’ve enjoyed raising money for Sue Ryder and we’d like to thank friends, family and colleagues at Morrisons Whitley Bay for their support.”

Money raised through the Morrisons Raise a Smile partnership with Sue Ryder is funding new community services, family support teams and an online support community, providing the best possible care to people at the end of their lives and support for their families.
