Vandal causes damage to ten cars in borough street

POLICE in North Tyneside are appealing for witnesses after a number of cars were vandalised in Cullercoats.

At around 1am on Sunday, March 3, a man was seen walking down The Broadway kicking and pulling wing mirrors off cars.

In total ten vehicles appear to have been damaged.

Police attended and a 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. He has since been released on police bail.

Officers in North Tyneside are asking anyone who witnessed the incident to contact police on the 101 non-emergency number.
