Willow club learn about actor's life
AN ACTOR's life can have its up and downs, members of the Whitley Bay Willow Club found out at their latest meeting.
Jeff Waites, of Whitley Bay, told of his careers as an actor, something he knew he was going to be at an early age.
He summarised the ups and downs of his life, there were moments of extreme hardship and moments of great joy when playing in films, and live theatre and television.
Jeff is retired from professional acting and now runs StageSchool in Whitley Bay and is active with Whitley Bay Theatre Club.
The Willow Club meets every Thursday between 10.30am and noon in the Wesley Hall, St John's Church, Ilfracombe Gardens, Whitley Bay. It is open to all retired men.
