A popular centre offering a vital lifeline for disabled children is looking for community support.
The Tim Lamb Children’s Centre, based at the Rising Sun Country Park in Benton, is holding a ‘March Mayhem’ to raise as much money as possible during the month.
The centre, which opened in 2012, provides support and play activities for disabled children and their families throughout the region.
Run by Pathways4All, families can also benefit from the holiday play schemes which can give parents some respite during the summer holidays in a safe and secure environment.
However, the centre needs to raise £40,000 a year to stay operational and pay for all its services.
A host of events are taking place in March or people can make a donation by texting PATH44 and the amount to 70070.
