Cloud Nine Theatre Company return to the Low Lights Tavern in North Shields next month with a brand new play.
Peter Mortimer’s The Body Under The Stairs is the final part of the absurdist trilogy which has already attracted full audiences for the first two, Marmite and The Plughole.
And to accommodate growing demand, the company has added an extra performance – bringing the total to five. The play is also booked as part of the North Shields library re-opening celebrations on July 25.
The play runs from Monday, July 22, to Wednesday, July 24.
There’s an 8pm performance each night where the play is preceded by live music from some of the coast’s top musicians; Monday, The Primates, Tuesday, Cath Stephens, Wednesday, Ryan Siddall.
Monday and Tuesday also have a 6pm performance where instead of music the ticket price includes home- made soup and a roll.
Tickets cost £6 and can be bought over the Low Lights bar or on (0191)257 6038, and online at www.cloudninetheatre.co.uk
With limited seating, booking ahead is essential for the fifth production in 18 months at Low Lights,
