Both birds and visitors will have somewhere to perch in a country park, thanks to the efforts of volunteers.

Staff and volunteers from Northumberland Wildlife Trust have installed a new bird feeding station at Weetslade Country Park.

The helpers went on to add benches for people to view the birds, as well as small screens to minimise disturbance.

The park is managed by the wildlife charity on behalf of the Land Trust.
