Volunteers have been working against the clock to complete the makeover of a community outdoor space.
A total of 18 staff from P&G’s payment and banking services department at its Cobalt site spent a day transforming the space at West Allotment Community Centre.
They dismantled old play equipment, removed rubbish, and did some gardening, filling two skips to complete the transformation ahead of the centre’s Summer Fair.
Claire Bidnell, from P&G, said: “I wanted to do an event like this to give back to the local community. P&G help many charities but with this hands-on approach you can really see the direct impact we made.
“It was so rewarding to see the before and after photos.”
“I also enjoyed the team building, getting to bond as a team outside of the office.”
Kelly Wood, from West Allotment Community Centre, said: “The team did a fantastic job clearing the garden area. We would like to thank everyone involved for all their hard work.”
