Motorists are being warned about overnight closures on a busy road as part of work to create the country’s first triple decker roundabout.

The closures will take place today (Monday) and on Tuesday as part of the A19 Coast Road scheme to upgrade the Silverlink junction to a triple decker roundabout.

The northbound carriageway on the northern side of the junction where the A19 meets the A1058 Coast Road will be closed today between 8pm and 6am.

The following evening the southbound carriageway will be closed between 8pm and 6am.

Drivers can check travel conditions before setting out on journeys.
