A HOLIDAY home that helps families with seriously ill youngsters from across the region, has received a helping hand.
The Northumbria Police Charities Fund bought a washing machine and tumble dryer for the Northumberland-based charity Chin-Up which provides a holiday home for families with a child or young person up to 18 years with a progressive or terminal illness.
Maureen Hardcastle from Chin Up said: “Thank you to the Northumbria Police Charities Fund for the wonderful donation of a washing machine and tumble dryer. These two items will be of huge benefit to the children and families who use the house.”
Sarah Dodds, Northumberland Charities Trustee, added: “It was a pleasure to help Chin-Up by buying this equipment for them.”
