Children have gone back in time to look at an industry which put their town on the map.
Pupils at Carville Primary School in Wallsend have been working alongside artists and filmmakers from The Amber Project to chart the history of shipbuilding.
Using archive footage from the film Launch, where the World Unicorn ship was launched from Swan Hunter in Wallsend, pupils interviewed and filmed local residents to capture their memories of growing up in the streets close to the former shipbuilding yard.
Former employees from Swan Hunter were also interviewed as part of the school project.
And after the film was showcased to a small group of parents and proved popular, a special event was held to show it to a wider audience including governors, parents, residents, children and dignitaries.
