Intrepid youngsters reached new heights as they raise money for children with cancer.

The ten, 11 and 12-year-olds climbed Scafell Pike and are now training for an attempt to climb Ben Nevis to raise £500 for the Children’s Cancer Ward at Newcastle’s RVI.

Megan Dack, Amy Tweedy, Amanda Jackson, John Jackson, Darren Gilbert and Faye Routledge all attend Shiremoor Adventure Playground, where staff are helping build up their fitness.
