Items recovered from the North Sea have been given a new lease of life in artwork.

Young people with additional needs have put together the exhibition.

It is currently on display at the Old Low Light Heritage Centre, on North Shields Fish Quay, until July 16.

The work is part of a project run by community interest company Flow (NE) CIC, which is committed to offering vocational and creative opportunities for young people.

Claire Gladstone, of Flow (NE) CIC, said: “We currently have an exhibition which we are absolutely delighted with. We are proud of the young people and their work.”
