Residents are being given another chance to see plans drawn up to reshape Whitley Bay seafront.

Following the success of a two-day public engagement event earlier this month, North Tyneside Council has decided to put the plans back on display.

The Whitley Bay Seafront Master Plan have gone back on display at the Customer First Centre and will remain on show until the end of August.

The displays – now located on the first floor – will keep residents, businesses and visitors up to date with progress on key projects planned or underway, as well as allow the public to share their views.

The £36million plans aim to breathe new life into the coastline and attract visitors, residents and businesses.

Whitley Bay Customer First Centre is located on York Road. Library opening times are 9am to 5pm, Monday, Wednesday and Saturday; 9am to 7pm, Tuesday and Thursday; and 9am to 5.30pm on Friday.
