WOMEN are being encouraged to have another shot at netball.
‘Back to Netball’ aims to get adults playing the game again by providing a gentle re-introduction to the sport.
Coaching sessions cover the fundamentals as well an opportunity to play.
The sessions cost £2.50 each and take place every Monday at Whitley Bay High School, from 6pm to 7pm.
Diane Williams, North Tyneside Council’s sport inclusion officer, said: “The sessions are a great opportunity for women, whether they’re rediscovering a lost passion, or looking for a new way to get fit.
“All abilities are catered for and the classes are always a lot of fun.
“It’s also a chance for the ladies to make new friends.”
