COUNCIL officials are offering to help residents fill in their census questionnaires.
Census forms will be dropping through letterboxes in North Tyneside this month asking for information on households and the people living or staying there.
Residents are required by law to complete the forms, either online at www.census.gov.uk or on paper to be posted back in a pre-paid envelope.
North Tyneside Council is hosting drop-in sessions for residents in need of help completing the form.
They will be held at:
n Whitley Bay Library, in Park Road, from 9am to noon, and Wallsend Library, in Ferndale Avenue, from 2pm to 5pm, both on Saturday, March 26;
n The White Swan Centre in Killingworth, from 9am to noon, and North Shields Library, in Northumberland Square, 2pm to 5pm, both on Saturday, April 2.
If questionnaires are not returned by Wednesday, April 6, census collectors will call around to help fill them in.
Additional help is available at www.census.gov.uk or by calling 0300 0201101.
