Tudor fashion is making a return to North Tyneside, bringing with it international attention.
A show of historical costumes will bring the fashion of history of the period to life at the White Swan Centre in Killingworth.
On Thursday, September 25, Renaissance Costumes will model a number of outfits accompanied by period music, a brief history of each historical figure featured and a talk about the design and construction of each costume.
One of the highlights is set to be the elegant execution gown and velvet robes of Mary Queen of Scots.
The show is also attracting international attention, with a film crew from KBS TV in South Korea filming the show for a forthcoming documentary on historical fashion.
The event starts at 7pm and tickets cost £6, including refreshments.
Places can be booked by calling the White Swan Centre on (0191) 643 2040 or by contacting any North Tyneside library.
