On Friday, May 9, I had a very bad fall and dislocated my left shoulder.
I was transferred by ambulance to A&E at North Tyneside General Hospital and was an inpatient for four nights.
On return home I was in need of the ‘reablement plan’, managed by Barbara Gordon, which the hospital set up for me.
At first I felt reluctant about this as I had never heard of them, but I knew I needed them, and I needn’t have been worried because I have had some wonderful caring help given to me in my greatest hours of need on discharge from hospital.
Thank you to everyone concerned.
