TICKETS fora new production from Cloud Nine at the Low Lights Tavern in North Shields next week have been snapped up.
Marmite – or A Goat in the Wilderness , a brand new absurdist comedy by Cullercoats playwright Peter Mortimer is playing for three nights from Monday and has now sold out.
The play is ‘a study of yeast extract, confused sexual identities, and a celebration of a day trip to Skegness’.
Audience members will be offered Marmite crackers before the performance, or an alternative of a jelly baby.
The first half each night’s performance is a set from well-known North Tyneside musicians.
On Monday evening it will be Pete Scott, Tuesday, Pox, and Wednesday Ruth Lambert.
The evening starts at 8pm.
