Youngsters are guaranteed a spook-tacular Hallowe’en as a Wallsend park plays host to a frightfully fun event.
Richardson Dees Park will be the venue for the ‘Pumpkin Play Day’ on Friday, October 30, with an array of activities and challenges for families and youngsters to take part in.
From 11am to 3pm, children can find all the hidden characters on the pumpkin treasure trail or carve their own pumpkin that they can take home.
There will also be Hallowe’en-themed archery and glow-up golf balls on the park’s ghostly golf course.
On the day, the Verandah cafe will be offering sweet pumpkin soup to go with hot fruity slime out of a real fired cauldron.
Prices vary between £1 and £2 for individual activities.
