A charity has launched its Christmas card in the hope people will share their support.
St Oswald’s Hospice has started a ‘Share a Card’ campaign, which features a festive snowman designed by children and young adults who use the service.
Supporters will receive a large Christmas card which enables groups of people to send festive Christmas messages to one another.
Sam Pym, fundraising co-ordinator at St Oswald’s, said: “Share a Card is really simple. Instead of buying, writing out, and sending lots of individual cards to friends and colleagues, supporters display ‘Share a Card’ in a prominent place, and write their seasonal messages inside the large card instead.
“The group then gives a donation to St Oswald’s. It’s a great alternative to the traditional way of sending Christmas cards.”
St Oswald’s also have an e-card alternative, which can be purchased online for a £10 donation to the Hospice.
