Students are being reminded that support will be on hand when they collect their A-Level and GCSE results.
Connexions North Tyneside will be providing a dedicated exam results advice service over the coming weeks as thousands of 16 and 18-year-olds get their results.
A-Level results are released on August 18, with GCSEs a week later on August 25.
Qualified Connexions advisers will be on hand to help young people and their families, including A-Level students who may need to reconsider their options for university if their results are not what they had hoped for.
Alternatively, students who have exceeded expectations may want help in submitting last-minute applications.
GCSE pupils can get help with sixth-form courses, apprenticeships, traineeships and other programmes.
Connexions advisers will be in the majority of schools as well as through a range of points around the borough.
Connexions North Tyneside senior manager Tim Downing said: “At this time of year people want to get access to the best careers advice possible and our fully qualified advisers are on hand to help whether that be about clearing, employment, further study, or career signposting.”
