Firms are being urged to have their say in the borough’s annual Business Survey.
The survey, organised by North Tyneside Business Forum, focuses on issues affecting local businesses.
Those who take part in the online survey – which should take ten minutes to complete – will be automatically entered into a prize draw to win an Apple iPad Mini.
It includes questions on topics such as business issues and concerns, staff, skills, support needs and plans for the next 12 months.
The results will have a significant influence on the range of services that could be offered to businesses in North Tyneside in the future.
Coun Frank Lott, cabinet member with responsibility for business support, said: “We hope that the Business Survey will provide us with a barometer to measure the current outlook for businesses on North Tyneside.
“It will also offer an excellent indicator of the future concerns, needs and objectives of the North Tyneside business community and make sure the Business Forum delivers what local businesses need.”
The survey may also be able to match certain forms of support, information and guidance to individual respondents.
