Disabled performers entertained the crowds with a variety of talents at a big event.

North Tyneside Disability Forum’s variety show returned to the Playhouse Whitley Bay on Friday night with a range of acts and performances including music, dance, drama and more.

A night of entertainment was opened with a number by the Youth Performance Choir, and followed with folk acts by Northumbrian small pipes, and music and singing from John Jeffery, Michael Whipp and Dennis Jorgensen.

There was music from the NTDF Guitar Group with David Ellison, a duet from ‘Spellcaster’, and singing from the ever-popular Shuggies.

To top it off there was a performance of ‘Singing in the Rain’ by the NTDF Music and Movement Experience, POP Young People and chief executive Sue Adams’s performing Eva Cassidy’s Fields of Gold.
