Young children enjoyed a special visit from some of their favourite princesses.

Youngsters at Pathways4All’s Tim Lamb Centre, based at the Rising Sun Country Park in Benton, spent an hour with some princesses from Disney films.

The special event was organised by North East Princess Parties whose members gave up their free time to entertain the disabled children.

They spent an hour singing, hosting an interactive role play and telling stories with the group.

Joanna Handyside, of North East Princess Parties, said: “The children fully enjoyed getting involved in the prince and princess activities as well as singing along to their favourite songs.”
