A group of youngters from the Percy Hedley Foundation have completed a 143-mile Coast to Coast ride to raise funds for charity.
Starting in Workington the group took five days to rice across the country to finish at Tynemouth on Friday.
The seven pupils who have cerebral palsy and other disabilities, along with eight staff, decided to take on the challenge to raise funds for the schools which are part of the Percy Hedley Foundation, which provides specialist services for disabled people.
Support Assistant David Batra, the challenge organiser, said: “Cycling 143-miles from Workington to Tynemouth is no mean feat by anyone’s standards.
“This is a huge challenge for all those involved.”
